Owner and General Contractor

Derek has been actively working in the building industry for over 18 years, but his family likes to say that his passion for building and creating things has been instilled in him since birth. Throughout his career, Derek has worn many hats, but one thing remained the same — his passion and desire to build high-end, custom homes through his own company.

Best Custom Homes, has been a business in the making for years. Through all of the contacts Derek made working across the United States, to the talented, hard-working subcontractors he has built relationships with in the Front Range; every career choice has led him to build this business in a seamless way, where we have quality tools, people, and trades in our arsenal and are ready for any job that may come our way.

When Derek is not working, he enjoys mountain biking, as well as hiking and camping with his wife, son and two labs.

Project Management and Administration

Danielle has worked in Marketing and Public Relations for custom home building companies for almost 10 years. Her passion in this industry truly lies in bringing each homeowner's unique story to life. 

A "jill of all trades", Danielle enjoys aiding in the everyday operations of Best Custom Homes. From sharing daily happenings through our digital presence, to manning the phones, to marketing collateral and promotions, she is happy to help in any way she can so that homeowners receive the best service possible. 

When Danielle is not working, she is at home with the Best Custom Baby, practicing her “Zen” or obsessively creating interior design boards.
